The Office of Sponsored Research (OSR), or the Research Office, assists faculty in the review, submission, negotiation, acceptance and administration of extramural grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements for research, training, and other sponsored programs. provides pre-award and post-award administrative services for sponsored projects. It collaborates with partner groups in other central and university offices to coordinate research administration services, systems, and processes. It reviews and endorses sponsored projects proposals, negotiates and accepts awards, and issues subawards on behalf of Yachay Tech. In addition, the OSR works to establish accounts in the financial system and fulfill sponsor’s financial reporting requirements with other university offices.
