Yachay Tech University presents its 2017 Accountability Report

The event had the participation of the institution’s staff

On February 27, 2018, Yachay Tech University presented its 2017 Accountability Report to citizens. The event was directed by Patricio Ponce, Ph.D., Acting Rector of the University. During the event the Institution’s progress in the last year was explored in matters of budgetary execution, research, community outreach, internationalization, student welfare, infrastructure and teaching. Since there were several topics to be discussed, the event counted with the participation of the directors and coordinators of different areas of the university. The event was attended by members of the university community and guests.

During the event, which lasted one hour, topics of interest related to different areas were discussed: budget execution and planning; infrastructure; progress and budget for research; community outreach; internationalization processes; Student Welfare issues, and teaching.

Among the attendees of the event were students, faculty, administrative staff, members of the community, and a representative of the Secretariat of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (Senescyt). After the main event, different representatives of the aforementioned areas answered questions from the attendees at designated dialogue tables for each topic addressed in the Accountability Report.
