Short Bio

Dario Alfredo Viloria Vera obtained Bsc at the Central University of Venezuela in Applied Chemistry option technology in 1974. First promotion

He works as an auxiliar student and assistant professional, in the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research in the Center of Petroleum and Chemistry, participating in applied research projects in the Improvement of Heavy and Extra-Heavy Crudes from 1974 to 1976

In 1976 he was awarded a scholarship for the training of engineers, a priority program of the French Government, aimed at the early recruitment of new professionals in countries with emerging economies (Brazil Mexico, Venezuela)

He carries out his doctoral studies in the Grand  French Schools (ENSACHIET, Paul Sabatier University) under the tutelage of Professors Francois Dabosi and Armand Lattes in the development of High Performance Functional materials, Deserving of the mention Three Honorable and with Congratulations from the Jury

During his doctoral studies he worked as a teacher assistant in the course of General Chemistry, Paul Sabatier University. 1977 to 1979

Upon returning from his doctoral training, he joined the Venezuelan Petroleum Institute (PDVSA INTEVEP), where he held various positions among which are: Project Manager, Project Leader, Senior Consultant in the field of Reservoir , Corrosion and Materials, and Natural Gas. Where it produces 180 Technical Reports, 32 patents and family of patent.He  is deserving of five creativity awards 

Parallel to his activities of Applied Research in Oil and Gas, he has been teaching from an early age at: Colegio La Salle. !970 to 1973. IUT RC 1976 -1980,  University of Zulia 1980 to 2000, Simon Bolivar University (Third Level and Postgraduate), Central University of Venezuela 2007 to date.

He has been a guest professor at different Universities in the Latin American region, CAREC, ESAN in Peru and taught different courses in Master’s programs in Bolivia, Colombia, and Chile. Where he has directed more than one hundred Undergraduate and Master  and Doctoral  Thesis 

He is the author of several technical publications in specialized journals and technical conferences

It has been awarded the National Engineering Award and the distinction of the Central University of Venezuela, as the best project carried out by its graduates Edition 2011.

He has been distinguished as a Member of the National Academy of Engineering and Habit, Sillon XXIII, European Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters and First Honorary Member of the Venezuelan Association of Gas Processors,

He currently serves as full professor at the School of Sciences and Chemistry of Yachaytech 2018 to date, being a member of the Graduate Committee
