Kinga Paulina Tomczyk


Kinga is from Poland and has been teaching English since 2013. She graduated from the Pedagogical University earning her Master of Arts in Philosophy and Education in 2007, and from the Jagiellonian University, where she received a Master of Arts degree in Social Anthropology and Ethnology in 2008. Before arriving to Ecuador, she worked in adult education and literacy projects in Scotland and with indigenous communities in Bolivia. Her experience includes working with young learners, adults and 1:1 teaching. She worked for Wall Street English in Quito for two years, then completed her CELTA certification through EF in April 2018.

Research interests

Adult education and literacy, cooperative learning, the influence of technology on Latin American social movements.
