Mauricio Matabay Cargua

Biography

Mauricio, an Ecuadorian ESL/EFL teacher, received his Bachelor of Arts from Universidad Central del Ecuador. In 2012, he got a scholarship sponsored by the Ecuadorian goverment to be part of the TESL training at Kansas State University. In 2015, he received his Master of Science from Universidad Central del Ecuador with minor in Linguistics and Didactics,

His profesional experience includes: Founding Secretary of the Ecuadorian Student Association at Kansas State University (ESA AT KSU); Coordinator of the English-Spanish Pen Pal project at Rock Creek High School (U.S.A); English Professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador; English Teacher at Public and Private High schools.

Mauricio has attended Cambridge, Oxford and Pearson seminars.

Mauricio enjoys singing Ecuadorian music and writing movie scripts.
