BIOGRAPHY:

An Italian national, he holds a PhD in Economics and Institutions from the University of Bologna (Italy) and research fellow at the Brown University (United States). Specialist in the design and strengthening of programs and policies for the productive sector with emphasis on micro, small and medium enterprises and bottom-up strategies

He has worked in Latin American, European, African and Middle Eastern countries. He has 15 years of professional work experience in international cooperation projects and programs focused on development of the private sector and productive value chains as a long and short term expert.

It combines a technical and direct knowledge in the area of ​​local development and promotion of entrepreneurship and competitiveness with teaching and organization of workshops on finance and business development services in universities and training centers.

He currently serves as senior expert in the MCPEC in the framework of the international technical assistance program PASES II (Programa de Apoyo al Sistema Económico Social, Solidario y Sostenible del Plan Nacional Para el Buen Vivir) financed by the Delegation of the European Union.
