Nowadays, the scientists find uses for some chemical reactions reported half a century ago, or more Multicomponent Reactions (MCRs), Organoboron Chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry, among others, have been recycled, giving new life to old reactions or compounds. In this regards, Copper azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAC), which is modification of a MCR developed by Huisgen in 1963, has emerged in the last decade as an efficent alternative to generate new materials.
