Carlos Reinoso, Ph.D.

Biografía

I have been focused over the past years on scientific research in the Nanotechnology field driven by my PhD studies. Born in Latacunga Ecuador, studied at National Polytechnic School (EPN) starting in Electrical Engineering and moved later to the Science School to been graduated as a physicist (2007),  later on he made a Master in Communications Networks and Sensors at the Pontifical Catholic University (2013), followed by doctoral studies in the University of Vienna in Austria and graduated with distinction (Sehr gut) 2018. His work has been related with the academia at Army University (ESPE), Salesian Polytechnic School, Technical University of Cotopaxi and University of Vienna.

Also in a non academic field he was part of the young entrepreneur leaders of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) in Ecuador to taking action and creating good impact in our communities for I continue to follow their activities.

Several times awarded with trainee grants from ICTP (Italy) 2009,10,11,12, Ministry of commerce of Popular Republic of China (2010), Visitor Scientist at Tokyo Metropolitan University in Japan (2014, 2015).

Summary of Interests

I am a physicist with great interest in both new materials and applied subjects in electronics.
