Short Bio

Francisco Hidrobo got a bachelor in Systems Engineering at the Universidad de Los Andes (ULA) in 1993; then he obtained a MSc. degree in Computer Science at the same University. He got the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) and the PhD degree in 2004, both at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He works in the areas of Web Technology, Automation, Intelligent Computing and Distributed and High Performance Computing. He is a recognised researcher at SENESCYT-Ecuador. He worked for 24 years as a professor at the Universidad de Los Andes (Venezuela). Currently, he is an associate professor in the School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at Yachay Tech.
