Hugo Fernandes Campos, Ph.D.

Biography

Hugo Campos received his BSc in Mathematics from the Algarve University, Portugal in 2004 and his  Master’s Degree in Mathematics from the Technical University of Lisbon in 2007. He earned his PhD´s degree in Mathematics from the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute, México in 2012. In 2013 he made a postdoctoral research stay at the Autonomous University of Puebla, Mexico until he joined into Yachay Tech University in October 2014.

Summary of Interests

Currently, my research interests are mainly the study of the interplay between the theory of pseudoanalytic functions (or generalized analytic) and the theory of transmutation operators and the applications of both in the study of equations of mathematical physics.

Current Research projects

Development and application of the theory of transmutation operators in the study of the multidimensional Schrödinger operator with variable coefficients.
