Rafaela Vinueza

Biography

Rafaela Vinueza is an EFL instructor from Guayaquil. She holds a Bachelor´s degree in Education with emphasis on English Language and Linguistics from Universidad Estatal de Guayaquil. Rafaela obtained a Go Teacher scholarship sponsored by the government of Ecuador to study a TESL training at Kansas State University. Later, she graduated from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL), where she got her Master´s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Rafaela is also a certified CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) instructor, and she has been a speaker in different English Languages congresses in Ecuador. She has teaching experience in different levels of education (pre-school, elementary, middle, high school, & college).

She is a social activist (E.D.O.E) and is passionate about education. In her earliest years of teaching experience, she realized that Education is the only opportunity a society has to promote justice, innovation and solidarity.

  • Writing development for beginners and assessment
  • Extensive reading and vocabulary acquisition.
