Rasha S. Mohamed.


Rasha S. Mohamed obtained her BA in English language and literature from the school of Al-Alsun (Languages), Ain Shams University and her MA TESOL from the American University in Cairo. Rasha has teaching experience in different countries: Egypt, the USA, and Morocco.  She taught at the American University in Cairo, the University of Texas at Austin as a Fulbright fellow, and in Casablanca as a volunteer.  She was awarded the Graduate Merit fellowship (2012), Fulbright fellowship (2013), TEFL fellowship (2014), and several conference grants (2015, 2016).



Rasha’s research interests include teaching practices and sociolinguistics. She has published and presented different research papers about: Applying flipped classrooms, culture teaching, language transfer, and code-switching at various international academic conferences, such as: Nile TESOL in Egypt, TESOL Arabia in UAE, and AESLA in Spain.
