Biografía

Silvana Escobar is a communications professional with a Master’s degree in Communication and Information Studies from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, USA; where she also collaborated as a Research Assistant for the Department of Journalism and Media Studies, and as an Instructional Assistant in subjects related to this field. She has experience in national and international media and worked as a Graduate Coordinator at Universidad de las Américas. Her teaching positions include one year at Universidad Técnica del Norte, and currently works as a full-time lecturer in the Department of Human Development at Yachay Tech University.

 

Research Interests

Her research interests lie at the intersection of media, education, and technology, focusing on exploring the various effects that technology has on our society and daily lives.
