The Student Welfare Coordination is responsible for carrying out programs, projects, campaigns, and prevention and health promotion activities that promote the development and welfare of students and the Yachay Tech University community. By this virtue, the Coordination is responsible for ensuring social integration, harmonious coexistence, health, sports, artistic-cultural activities, and professional orientation, for example, through university clubs with the main objective of promoting the students’ quality of life.
MISSION OF THE STUDENT WELFARE COORDINATION
To facilitate individual and collective development of students. We seek to promote their comprehensive education and to promote a harmonious coexistence. It is our duty to consider the diversities, common good, rights, as well as the duties of each member of the community. We work from gender, generational, intercultural, and environmental approaches. We aim to contribute to train professionals with communication skills, curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving in multicultural and interdisciplinary environments, focused on generating a social impact.
