Yachay Tech University, located in Hacienda San José, Urcuquí, accomodates students from the 24 provinces of Ecuador. The university campus is a residential campus, which means that regular students have the option of living on campus. On-campus housing is managed by Yachay Tech University; however, the actual housing service is provided by management of the City of Knowledge, Yachay Public Company (EP).

Once the lease agreement has been signed with Yachay EP, the student accepts all the conditions in the HOUSING REGULATIONS. You must pay 55 dollars a month to the Institution for the lease, plus 55 dollars of down payment. The house accommodates 2 to 8 students, depending on the size of the house. They have basic furniture, shared rooms and common areas. Housing is assigned by gender.

Almost 90% of the students live in the student’s housing. This way, Yachay Tech University is the only one in the country that has a high percentage of students living on campus.

The Security Department (EP), as well as the Community Life Promotion Department (PVC in Spanish) and the Medical Center ensure 24-hour attention. In the event of any concern and/or emergency, residents can get assistance seven days a week.
