School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences

MISSION

The School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences consists of the department of Mathematics and the department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Our mission is to provide students and young academics with a stimulating research environment, who will support the natural and experimental sciences with training and computational tools for high resolution and large scale modeling of their respective objects of investigation while engaging in interdisciplinary and international cooperations.  We will train our students to  advance  state of the art fundamental mathematics, numerical analysis, stochastics, theory of computing, artificial intelligence, software development, and systems engineering.
