Jesús Aponte

Short Bio

Jesús Alejandro Aponte González, teacher and researcher in mathematics,  obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences in august 2017 from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, under the supervision of Professor Carlos Morales. He works in Topological and Hyperbolic Dynamical Systems, and Ergodic Theory. At the moment, he is interested in the problem of redefining global dynamical systems properties in terms of local ones to better understand them and to ease its study. He also obtained in october 2010 a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Zulia, Venezuela, under the supervision of Professor Jaime Bravo.
