GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Physics
The physics department embraces core disciplines from the theoretical and experimental point of view. On the experimental side, special emphasis is given to materials science and engineering as well as nano-biotechnology. From the theoretical standpoint astrophysics and condensed matter physics are strongly supported.

PROFESSIONAL ELECTIVES

Group I: Electrodynamics, Semiconductor Physics, Molecular Nanostructures. Group II: Thermal treatment of materials, Radiometry, Electron microscopy, Probe microscopy (Scanning probe), Laboratory of nanofabrication. Group III: Introduction to academic research, Research Seminar.
