The Master’s Degree in Applied Physics specializing in Nanotechnology aims to train highly qualified professionals in the field of Nanosciences, with a focus on physical sciences, which allows them to create and apply their knowledge to solve local, national and global problems.

The program has a strong component of interdisciplinarity, research, innovation and leadership, which will raise the level and quality of life of society in the short, medium and long term.

The Master’s Degree in Applied Physics specializing in Nanotechnology is made up of three academic itineraries that depend on the student’s inclination: i.- Theoretical, ii.- Computational and iii.- Experimental. The study modality is distributed between: teaching, application practices and/or experimentation and autonomous learning.

The academic faculty is made up of PhD researchers from the School of Physical Sciences and Nanotechnology and other schools of the Yachay Tech University, as well as national and international experts from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia), University of Kaiserslautern (Germany), University of Gdansk (Poland), University of Nebraska (USA), among others.
