Guillermo Machado, Ph.D.

Biografía

G. Machado graduated in Mathematics at the Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo. In 2005 and 2007, he obtained the degrees of Magister in Formulation, Management and Evaluation of Productive and Social Projects and Magister in Mathematics Education, respectively, at the Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo (UNACH). In addition, he obtained the title of “Expert in E-Learning Processes” at FATLA in 2010 and obtained PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Calabria – Italy. He worked as a tenured main professor of Mathematics at the Faculty of Engineering at UNACH. Member of the ModSim Research Group “Research in modeling and simulation of complex systems”. Member of the Editorial Board and intellectual property at UNACH. Internal and external evaluator of Scientific Production and Relevance Works. Also he is an active member of the World Association of Virtual Tutors.

Interest Research

His research activity is positioned in an interdisciplinary context, touching diverse scientific fields, from Cellular Automata, Modelling and Simulation of complex phenomena by Cellular Automata to modeling and simulation of geological processes, as well as Mathematics Education.
