The aim of this talk is just to share with the community the unexplored opportunities on Nuclear Technology R+D at Yachay Tech. It is the kind of technology that involves the nuclear reactions of atomic nuclei (no matter terrestrial and extraterrestrial origin of the sources). The talk will go through, among others: particles and radiation detection technologies (i.e., neutrons and neutrinos), research and power reactors engineering (i.e., PSA, materials, fuel) and novels aplications (i.e., muon tomography, volcanology and geosciences). The impact on research and techology transfer at Yachay Tech, spin-offs/start-ups, interfaculty strategies, training of students and extension of researchers qualifications, will be openly discussed.
