Alberto Aguirre, Ph.D.

Biografía

Alberto Aguirre received her bachelor degree in Engineering in Biotechnology from the Escuela Politécnica del Ejército (Ecuador). He obtained his Master degree in Biochemical Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Chile), and his PhD degree in Biotechnology from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María & Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Chile). Since 2011 Alberto has worked as professor and researcher at various universities in Ecuador. His research has been based in the development and application of microbial and enzyme technology to generate or improve products in the food and chemical industry, agriculture as well to mitigate soil, water and air pollution.
