Biografía

Andrea Zurita Leal received her bachelor degree in Biological Science from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. She obtained her PhD degree from the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow.

 

Research interest

Area of expertise in molecular biology, with emphasis in molecular analysis of blood protozoa (Trypanosoma cruzi and Trypanosoma brucei) and translesion DNA polymerases.
