Mayra Peralta, Ph.D.

Biografía

Dr. Mayra Peralta is currently a researcher/Profesor at the School of physical Sciences and Nanotechnology of the YachayTech University. Previously, she made a PostDoc at the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CNyN) of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM-Ensenada B.C.). She obtained her PhD in Physics in March of 2015, at the Center of Physics of the Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Científicas (IVIC). Currently, her main topic of research is in the study of bands structures and transport properties of 2d materials, proximity effects in graphene layers produced by films of transition metals like Ni and Co.
