School of Geological Sciences and Engineering visits INIGEM

School faculty members and students took part in the technical visit

This past Thursday, July 27th, students and faculty from the School of Geological Science and Engineering of Yachay Tech University did a technical visit to the Ecuadorian Institute of Geological, Mining and Metal Research (INIGEMM, in Spanish). The visit was done three weeks after both institutions signed a collaboration agreement.

During the visit, both parties defines cooperation mechanisms through scientific research projects now being held at both institutions and the possibility of Yachay Tech students using INIGEMM’s laboratories for pre-professional practices.
