Yachay Tech students inaugurate the 2017 “Jugar, soñar, inventar” Project

This year, Yachay Tech students executed the “Jugar, Soñar e Inventar” project on Saturday June 17 and 24, 2017. The main goal of the event is to promote science among children from the schools of Urcuquí. This is done through experiments in physics, chemistry, biology, geology and math.

Jugar, Soñar, Inventar is a scientific camp planned to be offered for several days to more than 140 kids from Urcuquí. The event counts with the support of the main authorities of Urcuquí and Yachay Tech.

This Year, during the first day, the Jugar, Soñar, Inventar team had the participation of members of the School of Biological Sciences and Engineering, who guided the children through the Yachay Botanic Garden and Innópolis. During the second day, the University Chemistry Club joined the kids with experiments done on campus. Additionally, they gave the little visitors a tour around the chemistry teaching laboratories.
