María Gabriela Cajamarca, Ph.D.

Biografía

Gabriela obtained her bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Systems at the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, Ecuador, and her master’s degree and Ph.D in Engineering Sciences in Computer Science at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Chile. Her Ph.D. was funded through a postgraduate scholarship from ANID, National Research and Development Agency of Chile. Currently, Gabriela is a professor at Yachay Tech University, she is part of the Haplab research group (https://haplab.org), she also collaborates in FONDECYT projects in Chile.

 

Research Interests

My research is at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp), with special interest in the fields of Health and Wellness.
