Arts and Science come together at Yachay Tech

The Photography Club of Yachay Tech presented their first photography exhibition on the university campus.  The event was held at Sala Capitular on Thursday, September 28, and was attended by Yauri Muenala, responsible for cultural management, and Coordinator Natalia Herrera, both from the Student Welfare Coordination, and Carlos Castillo-Chávez, Rector of Yachay Tech.  Artists included Andrés Ponce, Ariana Rivera, David Clavijo, Jordi Cevallos, Juan Sebastián Burbano, Karen Jaramillo y Maily Gonzales.

The exhibition, entitled “Common Perspectives”, aimed at providing a new means of expression space aside from the academic, as well as showing the results of the work done by the photography club. The photos were on sale for the fundraiser of the club, which is self-managed.
