In February 2017 Helene took up the position of Academic Exchange Coordinator at Yachay Tech. Her mission in Yachay Tech is to manage the Academic Exchange Ofiice. This Office will contribute to the effort of building Yachay Tech’s reputation, increasing international cooperation and tapping in the international characteristic of this university and help to broaden the horizons of all staff and students.

For this objective, the offices actions will be based on Yachay Tech’s “20 Year Plan” regarding the international outlook and on collaborations and exchanges which would help to advance on Yachay Tech’s mission. We happily welcome Helene to our family and expect great collaborations among hers and every office of this institution. Her office is located adjacent to the office of the vice chancellor of research and innovation.

Helene is Greek but has lived most of her life abroad. Ecuador is her fifth country on a third continent. She has advised ministries and institutions on educational reforms to support their national strategies for development and assisted non-EU countries to successfully participate in relevant EU programs.
